Athens Airways is a new private owned airline, based in Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”, entering dynamically in the Greek air transport industry. Always with respect to the passenger, aiming at covering his high demands, Athens Airways intends to raise the bar in air transport services being offered in Greece, as well as to serve Greek passengers with safety, credibility and consistency. Direct contact with the customer, high quality service standards, constant improvement and the excellently trained personnel constitute a strategic bet for Athens Airways.
Athens Airways was established at the beginning of 2008. The company owns three Embraer aircrafts, ERJ-145 type, 49 seat capacity and one Dash 8-300, of Bombardier, 50 seats capacity.
Athens Airways is operating scheduled daily flights from Athens to 14 destinations: Alexandroupoli, Kavala, Thessaloniki, Mytilene, Santorini, Mykonos, Rhodes, Chania, Herakleion, Zakynthos, Kefalonia, Chios, Kozani and Kastoria. At the same time, there are scheduled flights from Thessaloniki to Mytilene and Chania, while more destinations will be added during the summer.
