How can I buy a ticket?
Athens Airways gives you the opportunity to make a ticket reservation through Internet at www.athensairways.com or by placing a phone call at 801 801 4000 (All over Greece, only from a fixed phone), 210 – 6696 600 (From a mobile or a fixed phone) or 6971 496 600 (From a fixed or mobile phone) or by calling your travel agent.
How do I receive my ticket?
Athens Airways issues electronic tickets. This means that after completing your reservation, you can go to Athens Airways check in counter only with your traveler’s documents (ID card or passport).
What hours does Athens Airways’ Reservations Center operate?
Reservations service operates from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Credit card owner has to be the same person with the passenger?
No. The final passenger can be different from the owner of the card used for payment.
My credit card is not acceptable. What can I do?
Your credit card is charged only in case of a successful transaction (after a successful purchase a confirmation email is sent to you). In case your card is not acceptable, please try again or communicate with Athens Airways’ Reservations Department.
What do I have to do if I travel with children or a baby?
During ticket reservation you have to register all your children’s or baby’s data (number of children/babies, names, dates of birth). Number of babies cannot exceed the number of adults travelling. You must have all your children’s and babies’ necessary travel documents with you.
Are pets allowed?
Athens Airways permits only a limited number of pets (cats or dogs). Please inform Athens Airways’ Reservations Department.
What is the allowed weight of luggage?
Athens Airways permits the delivery to luggage control of 1 baggage of 15 kilos for passengers with Non Flexible(NF) and Semi Flexible(SF) tickets and one of 20 kilos with passengers with Premium Flexible (FF) ticket. Every passenger is allowed to carry a handbag of 5 kilos and 15 x 30 x 40 cm and two for passenger with FF tickets. For the Public Service Obligation(PSO) lines apply the same limits as for SF and NF tickets regardless the ticket category. In case of excess weight, charge is 2 euros per kilo.
Although I made a reservation I’m not going to travel. What do I have to do?
Depending on the type of ticket purchased, you can change it or cancel it. See Athens Airways’ Conditions of Contract.s
